Senior RF Integrated Circuit (RFIC) Design Engineer

We are looking for a visionary Senior RFIC Design Engineer to join our world-class engineering team. In this role, you will lead the architecture, design, and tape-out of high-performance RF and mixed-signal integrated circuits that will define the industry standard. Key Responsibilities .Architecture & Design: Lead the micro-architecture and transistor-level design of RF blocks (e.g., LNAs, PAs, Mixers, VCOs, PLLs, and Baseband Filters) in advanced semiconductor technologies (CMOS, SiGe, or GaAs). .Simulation & Verification: Perform rigorous circuit-level simulations, including PVT variations, Monte Carlo analysis, and stability analysis, to ensure robust performance. .EM Modeling: Conduct electromagnetic (EM) simulations of on-chip passives, transmission lines, and IC packages using tools like HFSS or EMX. .Layout Oversight: Work closely with layout engineers to guide floor planning, parasitic extraction, and matching techniques to minimize noise and coupling. .Silicon Characterization: Partner with the lab evaluation team to characterize, debug, and validate your designs on silicon, ensuring alignment with simulated specs. .Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level design engineers. What We Are Looking For (Requirements) •Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (or a related field) with a focus on RF/Microwave IC design. •Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in RFIC design with a proven track record of successful tape-outs. Technical Skills: .Deep understanding of RF/microwave engineering principles, transmission lines, impedance matching, and noise theory. .Expertise with EDA tools (Cadence Virtuoso, SpectreRF, ADS, or GoldenGate). .Solid grasp of deep sub-micron semiconductor device physics and layout parasitics. .Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a collaborative team-first mindset. Nice-to-Haves .Experience with advanced nodes (FinFET or FD-SOI). .Familiarity with high-frequency packaging techniques (Flip-chip, WLCSP, Wire bond). .Knowledge of wireless standards such as Wi-Fi 7, 5G-NR, or UWB.
