Officer, Supply Chain Management

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry Level Supply Chain Management Officer. The successful candidate will assist in various aspects of supply chain operations, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain processes. This role is ideal for someone who is keen to develop a career in supply chain management and is ready to learn and grow with the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure the timely availability of products. Assist in conducting regular inventory audits and reconciliations, and update inventory management systems with accuracy.
• Supplier Interaction: Engage with suppliers for order placement, confirmation, and follow-up. Assist in evaluating supplier performance and ensuring adherence to agreed standards and delivery schedules.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Prepare regular reports, GRN, Purchase requisition for supply chain activities and performance metrics for senior management.
• Process Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting enhancements to existing processes and procedures to optimize supply chain operations.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with various departments including procurement, logistics, sales, and finance. Ensure effective communication across the supply chain to facilitate smooth operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Salary: Negotiable (Depends on skills)
