We currently serve a wide range of customers from art galleries, antique dealers, auction houses, online platforms to interior designers.

🎩 Your Role

As a Customs Declarant at Convelio in the EU Operations department, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of art logistics. With your unique skill set and passion for innovation, you will contribute to our mission of revolutionizing the industry.

✏️ What you'll do

  • Assist with verification of the information and documents needed for customs declaration
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations
  • Provide accurate and timely data entry into our operating system
  • Gather all of the documentation to apply for customs procedures or formalities
  • Process these requests either directly or through agents : request export or import customs declaration, launch applications for customs formalities, etc.
  • Make sure that our customs processes are conducted in a timely manner, and well-documented
  • Keep our operations teams and our clients informed on the status of all of these processes

  • You are fluent in French and English
  • Formal training as a customs declarant
  • General knowledge of customs regulations, procedures, and document requirements for international transport (familiarity with art specificities desired, but not mandatory)
  • You have a strong interest in operations
  • You have great attention to detail, and good organizational skills
  • You are enthusiastic, ambitious, self-motivated, and hands-on
  • You enjoy working in a challenging fast-paced, target-driven, and team-oriented environment
  • You are comfortable learning and adapting to new concepts and new tools
  • You have excellent written and oral communication skills, and aim to simplify complex customs problems into accessible information
