Quality Control Coordinator Airline Security (m/f/x)
Missions
Ensure and support compliance with applicable ICAO, EU and national aviation security regulations
Perform compliance monitoring / quality control activities and operational assessments against internal processes, national legislation, and international aviation security standards
Actively coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions
Support the development, review, and continuous improvement of aviation security manuals, procedures, checklists and related documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness
Contribute to cross-functional projects and initiatives aimed at improving departmental efficiency and effectiveness, including the implementation of new tools, systems, and process enhancements
Profil requis
- Minimum required criteria
- Bachelor's degree (BAC+3 or higher) in aviation, security, quality, risk management, or related fields.
- Experience in aviation within airlines, airports, or ground handling operations
- Ability to review, analyse, and manage regulatory and operational documentation
- Basic understanding of audit methodologies, quality management systems, and risk assessment principles
- Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and prepare structured reports and summaries
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a highly regulated environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to clearly document observations and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player within a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Analytical mindset with a structured, risk-based approach to problem-solving
- High ethical standards and strict adherence to confidentiality and data protection requirements
- Professional judgement and discretion, particularly when handling sensitive security-related information.
- Adaptability and initiative, with a proactive approach to continuous improvement and change management.
- Interpersonal skills enabling constructive cooperation with authorities, external service providers, and internal departments.
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of French and/or German, both spoken and written, would be considered an asset.
- Proficiency in standard office software tools (e.g. Microsoft Office / equivalent), including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Willingness and ability to occasionally travel, as required
- Holder of a valid driving licence
- Desired or to be acquired criteria
- Good knowledge of Luxembourgish
- Proficiency in department-specific and company-specific tools and procedure
- The ideal candidate
- Knowledge of aviation security regulations (ICAO, EU aviation security framework) is desirable
- Knowledge of any additional language would be considered an asset
