Mechanic

ECM Energy Services is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Fleet Mechanic to join our team in Bridgeport, WV. This position focuses primarily on preventative maintenance and light repairs for our light-duty fleet vehicles.

**Position Summary**

The Fleet Mechanic is responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on company light-duty trucks and fleet vehicles. This role plays a key part in maintaining safety, minimizing downtime, and extending the life of company assets.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**

• Perform preventative maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, fluid checks, etc.)
• Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure safety and DOT compliance
• Diagnose and complete minor mechanical and electrical repairs
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
• Coordinate with operations to schedule routine maintenance
• Ensure shop area is clean, organized, and safe
• Assist with parts ordering and inventory tracking as needed
• Respond to light emergency repair needs when required

**Qualifications**

• Previous experience as an automotive or fleet mechanic preferred
• Experience working on light-duty trucks and fleet vehicles
• Basic knowledge of electrical, brake, suspension, and engine systems
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and shop equipment
• Valid driver’s license required (CDL a plus but not required)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
