About The Role

Arrange and deploy vehicles as per daily indent/transport requirements without operational delays.
Coordinate continuously with transporters, adhoc vendors, and lorry booking offices to ensure vehicle availability at all times.
Ensure zero-failure execution in vehicle placement and dispatch coordination.
Build and maintain strong rapport with transport vendors and booking agents for smooth operations.
Conduct tough and effective rate negotiations to achieve the most competitive transportation costs.
Monitor market freight trends and maintain cost control in vehicle hiring.
Maintain accurate records of vehicles allotted, dispatch details, trip status, vendor details, and freight costs.
Track vehicle movement and ensure timely reporting of operational updates.
Collect PODs (Proof of Delivery) from vendors/customers without delay and maintain proper documentation.
Coordinate with internal departments for smooth dispatch planning and execution.
Resolve transportation issues, delays, and vendor-related concerns promptly.
Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation procedures.
