Our goal is to become the go-to platform for energy flexibility globally, and we’re hiring the person to make that happen.This role will assess Axle’s participation in Dutch markets and business models from first principles: diving deep into regulations, modelling revenue-per-asset, and trialling new propositions at <pace.You> speak Dutch and fluent English. Other European languages will also be an asset.What you will be doingOwning Axle’s commercial results in the Dutch market: pipeline, revenue and partner successWinning new customers end-to-end, from first conversation through to commercial close, and setting partners up to generate meaningful revenueDriving go-to-market execution with partners, including value propositions, pricing, customer segmentation and launch strategyBuilding the zero-to-one of the business through partnerships. You’ll be on the phone (and eventually on the ground) with utilities/retailers, potential clients and grid operators, creating and disproving hypotheses as quickly as possibleContinuing to sharpen our view of where the value is and which markets and business models are accessible to usBuilding lasting relationships with grid operators and the regulator, so that Axle is well positioned as the market evolvesActing as the conduit between partners and engineering, creating fast, structured feedback loops that turn field insights into product improvementsAs such, we are looking for a “full-stack operator” who can process highly technical information, ramp up commercial value, and accelerate us into new <markets.You> might have previous experience in one or more of the activities above, but we are more interested in your growth potential than your domain-specific expertise. We are looking for people who have built things, developed new relationships, and helped get big projects over the line in complex environments.This is an opportunity to deliver first-of-a-kind projects in one of Europe’s most important flexibility markets, become a domain expert, and work at the bleeding edge of electrification.What’s in it for youThis is a 12 month fixed-term contract. Compensation is highly competitive and dependent on experience.We operate with a deliberately flat structure and aim to keep pay equitable across the company, with a 1:1 median ratio between founder and team compensation.Bi-annual retreats to strengthen team connection & shared <purpose.You>’ll be based in the Netherlands.
