About The Role

**This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Strategic Sales Manager (m/f/d) based in France.**

We are looking for an experienced strategic sales professional to drive business growth and develop high-value client relationships across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). In this role, you will lead complex B2B sales cycles, from identifying new business opportunities and engaging decision-makers to negotiating and closing strategic deals. You will promote a comprehensive portfolio of cloud consulting, engineering, managed services, managed security, and AWS reselling solutions. Working closely with technical experts, pre-sales teams, and strategic partners, you will develop tailored solutions that address customers' evolving business needs. Your mission will be to expand key accounts, generate sustainable revenue, and establish long-term partnerships. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of strategic sales initiatives within an international, technology-driven environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Identify, prospect, and acquire new strategic customers across the DACH region through targeted outreach and collaboration with AWS and other strategic partners.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with selected existing accounts by implementing structured account plans and identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
  • Manage complex B2B sales processes from initial qualification and solution development through proposal preparation, commercial negotiations, and contract signing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, IT leaders, department heads, procurement teams, and other strategic decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, delivery, and technical specialists to design and present tailored solutions combining cloud consulting, engineering, managed services, managed security, and AWS reselling.
  • Identify opportunities to transform individual projects into long-term service engagements, with a particular focus on managed services, recurring contracts, and sustainable revenue generation.
  • Take full ownership of sales performance and strategic account development, ensuring achievement of revenue targets, including recurring revenue from managed services and reselling.
  • Monitor and manage the sales pipeline, maintain accurate CRM records, prepare forecasts, and track account performance against business objectives.
  • Explore additional business development opportunities in other European markets when required, while maintaining a primary focus on the DACH region.

Requirements:

  • 8–10 years of professional experience in consultative B2B sales, preferably involving complex IT services, cloud solutions, or comparable technology-based offerings.
  • Demonstrated success in acquiring new strategic customers, developing key accounts, and negotiating and closing complex, multi-year commercial agreements.
  • Proven experience selling both project-based services and recurring service contracts, such as managed services, cloud operations, managed security, AWS reselling, or SaaS solutions.
  • Solid understanding of cloud technologies, cloud service models, commercial structures, and their business value, with AWS experience considered a significant advantage.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage confidently with senior executives and C-level decision-makers.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical abilities, combined with an independent, structured, and results-oriented approach to work.
  • Experience with CRM systems, sales pipeline management, revenue forecasting, and strategic account planning.
  • Fluency in both German and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20–30% of the time for customer and partner meetings.
  • Experience working for an AWS partner, managed service provider, hyperscaler, or cloud and IT services company would be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with AWS partner programs, including ACE co-selling, AWS Marketplace, and available funding programs, is desirable.
  • An established professional network among IT decision-makers in medium-sized businesses and enterprise organizations across the DACH region is a plus.
  • Previous experience working with clients in regulated industries, such as financial services, healthcare, or the public sector, would be beneficial.

Benefits:

  • Permanent Employment Contract: Secure, long-term employment with opportunities for professional development and career progression.
  • Remote Working Opportunities: Flexible working arrangements.
  • Flexible Workplace: Opportunity to work from the Hamburg or Hanover offices, with flexibility to combine office-based and remote work.
  • International Exposure: Opportunities to collaborate with customers and partners across the DACH region and potentially other European markets.
  • Strategic Responsibilities: Significant ownership of customer relationships, business development initiatives, and high-value sales opportunities.
  • Technology-Driven Environment: Work with innovative cloud technologies, AWS solutions, managed services, and advanced IT offerings.
  • Collaborative Team Culture: Close cooperation with experienced technical specialists, pre-sales professionals, delivery teams, and strategic partners.
  • Professional Growth: Opportunities to deepen your expertise in cloud technologies, strategic enterprise sales, and the AWS ecosystem.
  • Business Travel: Opportunities to build strong customer and partner relationships through regular in-person meetings, with approximately 20–30% travel expected.
