Purchase to Pay Analyst part-time

You will be responsible for the purchase-to pay process at S&S Germany, mainly handling all SAP FI invoices and supplier account reconciliations.
In this role you will be also involved in the monthly closing process as well as yearly PWC testing procedures.

• Accounting of incoming supplier invoices in the SAP Cockpit
• Transfer of FI orders to MM (input of MM orders)
• Supplier account reconciliations and clearance
• Reconciliation of bank payments (to suppliers)
• Interface Management: Payment Block analysis with technical Purchasing department
• Set-up/Request new suppliers for FI
• Preparation of manual payments
• Monthly posting of petty cash account inc. reconciliation
• Monthly posting of intercompany re-invoicing's
• Month-end closing support (goods in transit, commission, intercompany reconciliation)
• Year-end closing support with PWC requests (e.g. delivery notes samples)
• If possible: reporting's to official German government institutions such as Deutsche Bundesbank, Statistisches Bundesamt, etc. (tbd)
• Ad-hoc requests regarding supplier accounts

• Ideally Bachelor/Master degree in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience as accountant
• Fluent in English; knowledge of German is definitely a plus!
• Experience in SAP FI and MM
• Proficiency in data analysis: experience with tools like Excel, Google, ideally also PowerBI and Access
• Good communication skills: ability to build network with 2 technical purchasing teams (Haan and Sersheim)
  and potential communication with suppliers
• Communication with German suppliers might require basic skills in German language (via Email the use of
  Gemini might be sufficient)
• The role can be handled in part-time (50%) - 20 hours/week, ideally 5 days/week
