WELLNESS FOCUS:

IHS employees are expected to promote a healthy agency culture for all residents and employees. This is a whole-person approach to health and wellness which includes eight dimensions of wellness: Emotional, Environmental, Health Services, Intellectual, Physical, Social, Spiritual and Vocational. Through these efforts we can ensure and exceed residents’ wellness needs relating to their mind, body, and soul, which may also have a positive effect on the employees, as a result.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Has excellent observation and communication skills.

2. Has CPR certification.

3. Is self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.

4. Is flexible and cooperative in fulfilling obligations.

5. If providing transportation services, must hold a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.

6. Has the ability to read, follow written instructions, and document services provided.
