About the role:

The Transaction Management Team is responsible for the ongoing management and operational oversight of a portfolio of complex trade receivables finance and securitisation programmes following transaction close. The team acts as a key point of contact for corporate clients, investors, and other transaction parties, ensuring that reporting and critical funding processes are completed accurately, efficiently and within agreed timelines. Its responsibilities include reviewing investor and management reports, monitoring transaction performance, overseeing payments and reconciliations, managing operational issues and transaction changes, supporting audits and maintaining appropriate governance and controls. The team also works closely with internal stakeholders to improve processes, increase automation and ensure that programmes remain operationally robust, compliant and scalable throughout their lifecycle.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee a portfolio of complex trade receivables securitisation programmes throughout their business-as-usual lifecycle.
  • Oversee transaction performance, reporting and key programme indicators, ensuring that reporting to clients and investors is accurate, timely and consistent with transaction requirements.
  • Act as a senior escalation point for operational, reporting and transaction-related matters, coordinating their investigation and resolution with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong governance and operational controls, including the management of reporting discrepancies, cashflow breaks, data quality issues and other transaction exceptions.
  • Lead engagement with corporate clients, investors, and other transaction parties, including governance meetings, operational reviews and discussions relating to transaction changes.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on transaction structures, reporting methodologies, programme performance and operational controls.
  • Support audit, compliance and other governance requirements across the portfolio, ensuring appropriate documentation and controls are maintained.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to support effective programme delivery and a high standard of client service.
  • Lead, mentor and develop Transaction Management team members, setting priorities, allocating workload and maintaining high standards of delivery.
  • Promote knowledge sharing, effective succession planning and operational resilience across the team.
  • Identify and lead opportunities to improve processes, controls and scalability, including automation, AI-enabled solutions and enhancements to reporting and operational processes.
  • Contribute to the continued development of Transaction Management's operating model, procedures and best practices.

What you bring:

  • Strong knowledge and practical experience of structured finance, securitisation and/or trade receivables finance, ideally gained through the ongoing management of complex transactions.
  • A strong understanding of transaction and investor reporting, cashflow management, portfolio analysis and operational governance.
  • Experience managing complex transactions and taking ownership of operational issues through to resolution.
  • Strong client and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with corporate clients, banks, investors and senior internal stakeholders.
  • The ability to interpret complex transaction structures and documentation and translate these into effective operational and reporting requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with excellent attention to detail and an ability to identify and manage operational and reporting risks.
  • Proven people leadership skills, with experience developing colleagues, managing priorities and maintaining high standards across a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex matters clearly to a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A continuous-improvement mindset, with experience identifying opportunities to strengthen controls, simplify processes and increase automation.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver accurately and effectively in a complex, deadline-driven environment
