About The Role

Perform gross examination and dissection of surgical specimens • Accurately describe, document, and submit tissue sections for histologic processing • Assist in the preparation and execution of autopsies when applicable • Photograph specimens and maintain accurate specimen records • Ensure quality control and compliance with all regulatory and institutional policies • Communicate effectively with pathologists, histotechnologists, and clinical staff • Support pathology workflow management and case prioritization during high-volume periods
