Head of Financial Crime Operations Transformation (6 Month Fixed Term Contract)

Join Starling Bank, a leading digital bank on a mission to provide a fairer and smarter alternative to traditional banks. As the Head of Financial Crime Operations Transformation, you will lead the transformation and operational delivery of financial crime initiatives, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF), and Customer Due Diligence (CDD/EDD). You will work closely with various teams, drive continuous improvements, and ensure robust governance aligned with the bank's strategy. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract with hybrid working options.

• Oversee the Operations transformation and operational delivery for AML, CTF, CDD, and EDD across customer segments in line with agreed SLAs.
• Lead the continuous improvement of the control environment to focus teams on taking a risk-based approach and reducing false-positive alerts.
• Partner effectively across 2nd Line Risk, Compliance, Product, Engineering, and Data to embed new initiatives and regulatory updates.
