Establish and implement consistent global policies and procedures for billing, collections, credit management, cash application, dispute escalation, and bad debt reserves while accommodating country-specific legal and customer requirements.
Collaborate with Operations, Project Management, Sales, Legal, Tax, Treasury, and local Finance teams to resolve invoicing discrepancies, contractual billing challenges, customer disputes, credit risks, and collection obstacles.
Develop and monitor key AR performance indicators, including Average Days Delinquent (ADD), receivables aging, collection effectiveness, unapplied cash, dispute resolution timelines, invoice rejection rates, billing cycle times, and high-risk customer exposure.
Lead the standardization, optimization, and automation of billing and cash application processes through ERP workflows, customer portals, invoice templates, project billing controls, and integrated reporting solutions.
Support the financial integration of acquired businesses by assessing existing Order-to-Cash processes, aligning billing requirements, migrating customer master data, standardizing collection procedures, and ensuring consistent AR reporting.
Maintain robust financial controls over customer master data, billing authorization, revenue cut-off, credit approvals, allowance assessments, write-offs, cash application, and supporting documentation.
Partner with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) teams to improve visibility into cash receipts, overdue balances, collection risks, and other receivables-related factors affecting liquidity and cash flow forecasts.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen billing discipline, accelerate collections, resolve disputes effectively, and increase transparency and accountability across global receivables operations.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
At least 8 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Order-to-Cash, billing, collections, project accounting, shared services, or accounting operations leadership.
Previous experience managing financial operations in professional services, consulting, engineering, project-based, multi-country, or acquisition-driven organizations is highly desirable.
Strong expertise in global Accounts Receivable management, including invoicing, collections governance, cash application, credit management, dispute resolution, and financial reporting.
Extensive hands-on experience with Sage Intacct, including system implementations, configuration, optimization, and ongoing process improvements.
Proven ability to standardize complex financial processes, strengthen internal controls, and implement automation initiatives across large or geographically distributed organizations.
Strong understanding of financial controls, revenue recognition and cut-off procedures, bad debt reserves, customer credit assessments, and cash flow management.
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to develop meaningful performance metrics, interpret financial data, identify operational inefficiencies, and translate insights into actionable improvements.
