As a Product Manager – Specialist II, you will lead the strategy, discovery, and execution of a next-generation decision-making and anti-fraud platform supporting high-volume transactions across multiple sales channels. You will play a strategic role in modernizing legacy systems, driving the transition toward a scalable architecture based on microservices and event-driven technologies. Working at the intersection of Engineering, Data Science, Business, and Operations, you will ensure that technological innovation translates into measurable business value. This role requires strong technical product expertise, executive communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex transformation initiatives. You will have the opportunity to strengthen transaction security while maintaining a seamless customer experience in a large-scale, technology-driven environment.
Accountabilities:
Define and lead the strategic vision, tactical roadmap, and delivery milestones for the new anti-fraud and decision-making platform.
Drive the modernization of legacy systems, coordinating the gradual decoupling and migration toward a microservices-based, event-driven architecture.
Build strong relationships and establish trust with Business, Fraud Prevention Operations, Credit, Commercial Channels, and Compliance teams.
Translate complex technical and architectural concepts into clear business value, ensuring alignment between technical priorities and organizational objectives.
Establish effective product governance and executive communication practices, presenting architectural decisions, managing expectations, and reporting risks, dependencies, and progress to senior stakeholders.
Lead discussions and stakeholder alignment in high-pressure situations, addressing technical challenges and conflicting priorities with confidence.

Partner closely with Tech Leads, Software Architecture, Engineering, and Data Science teams to integrate predictive Machine Learning models and business rules efficiently.
Ensure that platform capabilities support high availability, operational efficiency, and reliable real-time decision-making.
Act as a product methodology reference within the squad, promoting continuous discovery, structured hypotheses, MVP definition, and technical refinement of API contracts.
Balance transaction security, fraud prevention, operational performance, and customer experience throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements:
Proven experience managing the full lifecycle of complex digital products, particularly transactional platforms, technology infrastructure, payments, credit, or risk and fraud prevention.
Hands-on experience leading complex legacy modernization initiatives, including monolithic system decoupling, microservices architectures, messaging, and API integrations.
Ability to coordinate transitions between legacy and modern environments while maintaining business continuity and minimizing operational disruption.
Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence without formal authority and align teams with competing priorities.
Excellent communication and strategic storytelling skills, particularly the ability to translate complex Engineering and Data Science discussions into clear insights for non-technical decision-makers.
Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities, with familiarity with financial and fraud prevention metrics such as conversion rates versus risk, transactional churn, false positives, and chargebacks.
Resilience, autonomy, and adaptability when working in ambiguous environments, with the ability to structure open-ended problems, identify uncertainties, and make strategic decisions with incomplete information.
Academic background or professional experience at the intersection of Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
Previous experience in anti-fraud environments, particularly with rule engines and the real-time integration of statistical models and Machine Learning solutions.
