About The Role
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Salesforce Product Owner based in Canada.
As a Salesforce Product Owner, you will play a strategic role in shaping and delivering innovative, scalable solutions across the Salesforce ecosystem. You will bridge the gap between business objectives, technical strategy, and client needs, taking ownership of the solution vision from initial discovery through implementation and handover. Working closely with enterprise clients and multidisciplinary teams across different time zones, you will translate complex business challenges into actionable product roadmaps and delivery priorities. You will manage product backlogs, guide Agile execution, and ensure that solutions deliver measurable business value. You will also contribute to the evolution of AI-powered capabilities, particularly Agentforce, ensuring secure, effective, and responsible implementation. This remote opportunity offers the chance to influence high-impact digital transformation initiatives in a collaborative, innovative, and fast-paced consulting environment.
Accountabilities:
Solution Strategy and Vision: Own the end-to-end solution vision, from discovery and definition through implementation, enablement, and handover, ensuring alignment between business objectives, technical architecture, and delivery outcomes.
Apply established project and program frameworks to guide solution design and architecture decisions while balancing budget, timelines, staffing, quality, and platform constraints.
Design scalable solutions across Salesforce, Agentforce, related SaaS platforms, and web technologies, determining the appropriate use of declarative functionality versus custom development.
Define and guide Agentforce implementations, including agent architecture, topics, actions, and prompts, while establishing appropriate security, accuracy, and responsible-use guardrails.
Client Partnership and Business Alignment: Build trusted relationships with executive and technical stakeholders, acting as a strategic advisor and primary product partner throughout client engagements.
Lead discovery workshops to understand business priorities, user requirements, operational challenges, success metrics, and technical constraints.
Translate client needs into clear solution strategies, ensuring ongoing alignment between stakeholders and delivery teams.
Product Roadmap and Backlog Management: Own and prioritize the product backlog, maintaining an outcome-driven roadmap based on business value, delivery risks, dependencies, and resource requirements.
Convert business requirements into well-defined epics and user stories with measurable outcomes, clear acceptance criteria, and agreed scope boundaries.
Continuously refine upcoming work to ensure engineering teams remain focused on the highest-priority initiatives.
Agile Delivery Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams through solution execution, adapting Agile methodologies to the specific needs of each engagement.
Facilitate backlog refinement, sprint planning, solution demonstrations, and feedback sessions to maintain delivery momentum and alignment.
Coordinate architects, UX designers, developers, QA specialists, and client contributors across multiple time zones.
Own delivery outcomes through go-live, ensuring projects are completed on time and meet established quality standards.
Stakeholder Communication and Decision-Making: Communicate project progress, key decisions, dependencies, risks, and challenges to internal and external stakeholders.
Present solution alternatives and explain trade-offs involving business value, cost, timing, effort, quality, and risk.
Challenge requests that introduce unnecessary complexity or scope without delivering meaningful business value.
Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences, including senior executives.
Solution Validation and Client Enablement: Lead user acceptance testing and validate that delivered solutions meet acceptance criteria and achieve intended business outcomes.
Coordinate client onboarding, knowledge transfer, and role-specific training to support successful adoption and long-term platform usage.
Engagement Growth and Continuous Improvement: Monitor delivery risks, assumptions, and unresolved issues, proactively recommending corrective actions when needed.
Identify opportunities beyond current project scope that could increase platform value or support future business initiatives.
Collaborate with sales teams on follow-on opportunities, quarterly business reviews, and strategic account planning.
Requirements:
Professional Experience: At least 7 years of experience designing and delivering complex Salesforce solutions using both standard platform capabilities and Salesforce-compatible customizations, ideally combining implementation and product development experience.
Minimum 4 years of professional services or consulting experience leading strategic client engagements, preferably in a Product Owner capacity.
Proven experience owning solution strategy and vision for complex, multi-stakeholder projects involving multiple technology platforms.
Demonstrated expertise in product backlog ownership, prioritization, writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and leading Agile delivery teams.
Strong practical knowledge of Agile frameworks, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint demonstrations.
Salesforce and Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with Salesforce declarative tools and a strong understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem.
Working knowledge of Agentforce functionality, including agent design, topics, actions, prompts, and the implementation of appropriate guardrails.
Experience collaborating with technical development teams across multiple time zones and leading through influence rather than formal reporting authority.
Ability to design innovative Salesforce solutions that address complex business challenges and deliver measurable results.
Client and Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to facilitate collaborative discovery workshops, understand customer experience requirements, and align business needs with technical strategies.
Confidence presenting to C-suite executives, leading enterprise-level engagements, and managing relationships with senior stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation, client-facing presentations, and the ability to explain complex technical concepts in accessible language.
Preferred Qualifications: Salesforce certifications such as Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Agentforce Specialist, alongside Agile certifications such as CSPO, CSM, or equivalent.
Experience managing large enterprise initiatives or programs valued at $1 million or more.
Industry experience in Financial Services Cloud, insurance, and/or transportation.
Experience developing Agentforce prompts, including prompts leveraging Data Cloud.
Familiarity with managed package development and Salesforce AppExchange.
Knowledge of user-centered design principles, design thinking, and the Salesforce Lightning Design System.
Experience managing migrations from Salesforce Classic to Lightning.
Professional and Interpersonal Skills: Strong leadership and facilitation abilities, with confidence managing workshops, demonstrations, and executive meetings.
Ability to challenge decisions constructively, manage expectations, and maintain scope discipline while prioritizing client objectives.
Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to lead through collaboration, credibility, and trust.
Flexibility and commitment to supporting critical project milestones, including occasional after-hours go-lives and urgent delivery issues.
Curious, creative, adaptable, and motivated to continuously develop technical and professional expertise.
Strong sense of teamwork, accountability, and professionalism, with the ability to remain composed and collaborative under pressure.
Highly organized and self-sufficient, with a strong commitment to quality and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Canadian citizens and individuals with valid Canadian work authorization are encouraged to apply.
Benefits:
