Regional Cartage Manager - Durban

People Management Lead and manage a team of mechanics, technicians, operational and support staff in the Cartage office; To manage and oversee all aspects, MSC Logistics staff, equipment and administration in the Durban region; To manage and oversee all aspects of HR related matters at MSC Logistics Durban; Overall management of attendance register and time keeping; Health Safety Risk Management To manage and oversee all aspects of OHS related matters at MSC Logistics Durban To manage and oversee all aspects of Risk related matters at MSC Logistics Durban; Operations Stakeholder management Ensure efficient and timely maintenance and repair of company vehicles To manage and oversee all aspects of Claims related matters at MSC Logistics Durban; Customer calls; Liaising with various departments within the organisation Liaising with clients and assisting with any concerns raised; Investigates and resolves all claims, complaints, queries; To liaise with Port regarding operational issues/concerns To assist with day-to-day management of the Long-Distance Road haul department where required. Ensure the necessary updates are sent to customers and the management team timeously Ad Hoc Acts on any lawful and reasonable instruction given to you by the Directors.
