Your Role as Cook

You will support our guests their families and staff by:

· Preparing nutritious, high-quality meals, snacks and refreshments

· Catering for dietary, cultural, religious and medical requirements

· Supporting family-style dining experiences and special events

· Maintaining food safety, infection control and kitchen compliance standards

· Assisting with stock control and kitchen organisation

· Working alongside staff and volunteers to provide a positive experience for guests and their families

What We're Looking For

· Certificate III in Commercial Cookery

· Food Safety Supervisor Certificate

· Experience working in a commercial kitchen

· Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and infection control practices

· Ability to manage competing priorities and work efficiently

· Strong communication and teamwork skills

· A compassionate and customer-focused approach

A Valuable Addition, Yet Not a Must-Have!

· Barista experience or experience operating commercial coffee machines

· Experience in healthcare, aged care, disability or community services

Essential Requirements

· Current Paid Blue Card

· Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card)

· Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ policy
