Job Description & Summary: PwC India is looking for a highly skilled Python Developer with hands-on experience in developing, deploying, and optimizing Python-based applications and data processing solutions. This is a purely technical role focused on building robust, scalable, and maintainable software to support enterprise analytics, automation, and digital transformation initiatives. Job Position Title: IN_Specialist 3_Python Developer_D&A_Advisory_PAN India Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Python applications and scripts to support data engineering, automation, and analytics projects. Build and optimize data pipelines and workflows integrating multiple data sources such as SQL databases, REST APIs, and cloud storage services. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to develop AI/ML-enabled solutions and operationalize models. Implement code quality best practices including unit testing, code reviews, and documentation. Support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline application rollout and updates. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing Python codebase to improve performance and reliability. Participate actively in Agile development processes, sprint planning, and team collaboration activities. Mandatory Skill Sets: Strong hands-on experience in Python programming and scripting for data processing and application development. Proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT workflows. Experience with API integrations and working with cloud data storage (AWS, Azure, GCP). Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git. Understanding of DevOps principles and familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines. Preferred Skill Sets: Experience with data science or machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, or PyTorch. Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Familiarity with cloud SDKs and automation tools (e.g., AWS SDK, Azure SDK). Prior experience working in consulting or enterprise technology projects. Years of experience required: Fresher / 0-2 Years Education qualification: BE, <B.Tech>, MCA, MBA, <M.Tech>
