Host/Hostess at Lolo's (part-time)

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome guests with a positive and professional attitude.
Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists using the restaurant's reservation system.
Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
Maintain accurate wait times and communicate delays to guests.
Coordinate seating arrangements with servers and managers to ensure efficient table rotation.
Answer telephone calls and assist with guest inquiries regarding hours, reservations, and restaurant information.
Assist with special requests and guest accommodations whenever possible.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, entrance, and waiting areas.
Support restaurant operations by assisting with menu presentation, guest flow, and general hospitality needs.
Thank guests upon departure and invite them to return.
Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and service standards.

Qualifications:

Previous restaurant, hospitality, customer service, or retail experience preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
Ability to remain calm and organized during busy service periods.
Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
Basic computer and reservation system skills preferred.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally.
Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
