Warehouse Operative - Books

What You Can Expect:

• Systematically process individual customer orders per country.
• Pick/Pack/Label products per customer for dispatch to export standards in compliance with standard procedures.
• Carry out picking processes accurately and in line with customer requirements and established quality procedures.
• Unpacking and Scanning Books.
• Undertake quality checks.
• Ensure efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules, and schedules.
• General housekeeping, maintaining clean, safe and tidy work area free of rubbish and obsolete materials.
• Perform offloading activities e.g. empty pallets, consumables etc. and place in the designated area.
• Adhere to workplace health and safety rules when handling goods.

What You Bring:

• Inventory control/management
• Warehouse order processing
• Picking and packing
• Equipment operation e.g. pallet trucks, scanners etc.
• Attention to detail
• A good general standard of education (GCSE or equivalent) is required
• Ability to operative MHE (not essential, as training will be provided where this is essential to the role)
