As a Short-Form Content Creator, you will transform long-form podcast episodes into engaging, high-performing vertical videos for major social media platforms. You will work with approximately two hours of weekly content featuring renowned trading champions, millionaires, and leading financial experts discussing investment strategies, trading psychology, personal experiences, and controversial industry topics. Your mission will be to identify the most compelling moments and turn them into short videos that capture attention and generate engagement. You will manage the entire editing process, from selecting impactful hooks to adding subtitles and optimizing video pacing. Through continuous experimentation and performance analysis, you will help grow audiences across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. This is a remote freelance opportunity with a performance-based compensation model, offering significant ownership and earning potential based on the reach you generate.

Accountabilities

Transform weekly long-form podcast episodes, typically around two hours each, into engaging vertical short-form videos.

Create and edit content optimized for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and TikTok.

Identify the most compelling, entertaining, informative, and thought-provoking moments from interviews with trading professionals, investors, millionaires, and financial experts.

Develop attention-grabbing hooks within the first two seconds of each video to maximize viewer retention and engagement.

Add accurate, engaging subtitles and ensure professional editing, smooth transitions, and dynamic pacing.

Adapt video formats, lengths, hooks, and editing styles to suit the specific algorithms and audiences of each social media platform.

Experiment with different creative approaches and continuously test content formats to identify opportunities for improved performance.

Monitor performance analytics across all platforms, analyzing reach, engagement, views, and new channel subscribers.

Use performance insights to refine content strategies and maximize audience growth.

Take full ownership of the short-form content production process, from identifying suitable clips to delivering publication-ready videos.

Propose a performance-based compensation structure, including the metrics used, proposed rates, and applicable performance thresholds.

Requirements:

Proven experience creating short-form video content for social media platforms, with examples demonstrating measurable reach and audience growth.

Ability to provide performance data, including video views, reach, engagement, and subscriber growth from previous projects.

Strong understanding of YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and TikTok, including their respective algorithms, formats, content trends, and audience behaviors.

Excellent video editing skills, with the ability to identify engaging moments and transform long-form material into compelling short-form content.

Strong storytelling instincts and the ability to create impactful hooks that capture attention and encourage viewers to keep watching.

Experience creating subtitles, optimizing video pacing, and adapting content to different platform requirements.

Familiarity with AI-powered content creation and editing tools, including automatic captioning, clip-finding software, and platforms such as Riverside.

Fluent German language skills, with the ability to understand conversations, identify important statements, and accurately edit German-language content.

Interest in financial markets, investing, and trading is considered an advantage.

Analytical mindset, creativity, and a results-oriented approach to content production.

Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and take ownership of deliverables in a remote freelance environment.
