And that's where you come in:We are looking for a Software Engineer focusing on Front-End development of Web applications in our Parchment Product Suite. The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of experience working in development teams in a well-structured environment, is able to use AI for development efficiently and responsibly. What you’ll do:Develop web applications, mainly Frontend using React TypeScript, including tech design, code reviews, testing, holding internal demos, investigate and fix production bugsParticipate in UX design as an engineerContribute in improving our CI/CD pipeline and auto test coverage when neededBe part of a high speed, high ownership, strong tech culture teamUse AI heavily (mainly Claude) to increase efficiency while keeping full ownership of the code and solutions you deliver What you will need to know/have:Able to tech-design small software changes, e.g. adding a small feature to a web applicationComfortable to develop software using any leading AI solution2-4 years of experience working in software development teams as a developer, developing web applicationsGood knowledge of React, TypeScript as well as Frontend development good practicesExperience writing automated tests (unit, integration, or end-to-end)Basic knowledge of web application backend and cloud infrastructures and willingness to occasionally work in Backend with Node, Java or KotlinFluency in EnglishIt would be a bonus if you also had:Competence to develop web application backend or cloud infrastructure (AWS) is nice to haveExperience with accessibility (WCAG) or design systemsExperience with our React stack: TanStack Query, TanStack Router, React Hook Form with Zod, i18next.Experience with AngularGet in on all the awesome at Instructure!We offer competitive, meaningful benefits in every country where we operate.
