We are looking for an experienced Insurance Subject Matter Expert (SME) at Associate Director level with comprehensive knowledge of the insurance value chain, strong client and stakeholder management capabilities, and the ability to drive pre-sales, solutioning, and functional delivery. Job Position Title: IN_Senior Manager_ Insurance SME _AppTech_Advisory_Kolkata Key Responsibilities End-to-End Insurance Expertise: Demonstrate deep domain expertise across Life, Health and General Insurance, covering the complete insurance lifecycle from product development and distribution to underwriting, policy administration, claims, servicing, renewals, and settlements. Business & Functional Solutioning: Translate business requirements into functional solutions, target operating models, business processes, and technology-enabled transformation roadmaps. Pre-Sales & Business Development: Lead insurance-focused pre-sales activities, identify client opportunities, contribute to account growth, and support deal qualification and pursuit strategy. Proposal & Bid Management: Develop compelling, differentiated proposals, solution narratives, business cases, RFP/RFI responses, and client presentations to improve deal conversion and win rates. Client Stakeholder Management: Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, including business leaders, functional heads, and technology leadership, and drive discussions, workshops, and executive presentations. Functional Delivery Leadership: Own the insurance domain and functional workstream during delivery, ensuring requirements clarity, solution alignment, business process integrity, and successful business outcomes. Internal Stakeholder & Team Leadership: Collaborate with technology architects, delivery teams, consulting leaders, and business development teams to ensure integrated solutions and comprehensive domain coverage. Industry Insights & Thought Leadership: Track insurance industry trends, regulatory developments, emerging business models, and digital innovations to develop relevant client propositions and thought leadership. Practice & Capability Development: Build reusable insurance assets, frameworks, accelerators, and domain knowledge while mentoring teams and strengthening the organization's insurance consulting capabilities. Engagement & Commercial Ownership: Support engagement planning, estimation, scope definition, risk management, and commercial discussions across consulting pursuits and delivery engagements. Executive Communication & Client Presence: Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex insurance concepts, develop compelling executive-level narratives, and communicate with clarity, confidence, and professionalism. Possess strong presentation and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior client stakeholders through polished language, persuasive storytelling, and impactful business communication. Mandatory Skills: Typically 12–18+ years of relevant insurance industry or consulting experience, with demonstrated capability in domain consulting, senior stakeholder management, pre-sales, and delivery leadership. Preferred Skills: Certifications on Insurance domain tools like DuckCreek, TCSBanCS preferred. Education qualification: B.E. / <B.Tech> / MCA/ M.E/ <M.TECH/> MBA/ PGDM. All qualifications should be in regular full-time mode with no extension of course duration due to backlogs.
