Legal Counsel

Join Foleon, a fast-growing SaaS company, as a Legal Counsel. In this role, you will drive contracting across the business, handle day-to-day commercial contracting, work with Product on legal and compliance questions, maintain the contract management system, and track changes in relevant laws and regulations. You will work closely with teams across Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Finance, and report to the Head of Legal. • Drive contracting across the business, including customer deals and vendor agreements, and maintain the contract management system.
• Handle day-to-day commercial contracting, including reviewing, redlining, and negotiating customer agreements.
• Work closely with Product on legal and compliance questions related to new features and data, and keep legal disclaimers compliant.

• Detail-oriented: you catch the nuances in contract language that others miss
• Comfortable adjusting your schedule to overlap with teams across EMEA and US time zones
• Approachable and a clear communicator, you can explain legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders without losing anyone, and you keep turnaround times predictable
• Curious about product, you ask questions, dig into the why behind a feature, and want to get closer to how the product gets built
• Comfortable representing Foleon directly in negotiations
• Basic knowledge of AI regulation, such as the EU AI Act
• Tech, IT, or SaaS experience is a plus
• A law degree (Bachelor's or higher)
• At least 2 years of legal experience, ideally international
• Fluent English
• Working knowledge of EU law. Familiarity with US law is a plus
• Experience negotiating commercial agreements, including service agreements, NDAs, and vendor contracts
• Comfortable using AI tools in your daily work, with an interest in building workflows that make legal work more efficient
