Contract Staff Software Engineer (Firefox, C++, Storage Encryption)

Join Mozilla as a Contract Staff Software Engineer, where you will play a key role in implementing Storage Encryption across the Firefox browser. You will work closely with the Firefox DOM LWS team, contributing to the delivery of Storage Encryption Everywhere in Gecko. Your responsibilities will include writing and passing Web Platform Tests, conducting code reviews, resolving specification questions, and shepherding the feature through various release stages. • Contribuer à la mise en œuvre de la fonctionnalité de cryptage des données dans Firefox, y compris la migration des données entre les schémas et les tests d'intégration.

• Strong debugging and optimization in a multithreaded codebase
• Strong C++
• Familiarity with web standards and Web Platform Tests
• Comfort working in the open: public bugs, code review, and upstream landing
• Substantial experience in databases
• Substantial experience in a browser-engine codebase, ideally Firefox/Gecko
• Prior contributions to Gecko or another major browser engine
• Familiarity with the relevant standards body and specification process
