Senior Java Developer

Join our team as a Senior Java Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing architecture, DevOps, performance, and security best practices. You will have proven development experience as a Lead Engineer, with expertise in Java and Javascript, and a working knowledge of CI/CD practices. You will also mentor junior engineers, support Squad Leads, and ensure the development team is achieving project goals and maintaining quality standards.

• Encadrement et mentorat des ingénieurs juniors, en fournissant des conseils techniques et en garantissant que l'équipe de développement atteint les objectifs du projet.
• Collaboration avec les parties prenantes pour comprendre leurs préoccupations commerciales et prendre des décisions techniques éclairées.

• Commercial experience working with agile methodologies
• Experience of implementing architecture, DevOps, performance or security and an understanding and ownership of best practice as a Lead Engineer (eg. TDD, SOLID, XP)
• Proven development experience of working as a Lead Engineer in a commercial development team with an expert understanding of Java and Javascript and wider experience in different tools and frameworks across the stack
• Working knowledge of CI/CD practices and deployments
• Experience of writing effective documentation and knowledge sharing
• The ability to take clients wider business concerns into account when making technical decisions and dealing with the challenges from stakeholders that come with this
• Comfortable mentoring junior engineers and supporting Squad Leads, with the attributes to provide technical guidance as the most senior engineer on a project and ensuring the development team is achieving project goals and maintaining quality standards
