Engineering Manager (Cohere APIs and DevEx)

• Manage and mentor a team of backend and full-stack software engineers, guiding them toward shared success.
• Collaborate with internal partners to craft a delightful, intuitive, and unified experience across Cohere APIs and Dashboard.
• Participate in model releases and develop new API capabilities, working closely with Modelling and Model Serving teams.

• You have the ability to take complex needs and goals and develop easy to understand explanations for all audiences
• You’re comfortable with the front and back end of the stack, and have previously worked with Go, Next.js, TypeScript, and React
• You have experience managing engineering teams and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software
• You are passionate about building rapport with your team and you prioritize 1:1s
• You are passionate about recruiting and growing people and teams
• You have experience shipping products with a large number of stakeholders
• You have excellent communication skills and believe that documentation is a great way to get feedback and discuss technical implementations and designs
• You’re excited about AI and have the motivation to scale a company
