Senior Frontend Engineer (Salon Operations)

Join our Salon Ops Group as a Senior Frontend Engineer. You'll be a key member of a multidisciplinary team, working with a modern Ember.js frontend stack and engaging with GraphQL, Apollo, and Node.js. Your responsibilities will include building fast, ambitious web applications, collaborating with the product team, and improving the frontend developer experience. You'll also have the opportunity to coach and help teammates through code reviews and whiteboarding sessions.

• Collaborate closely with the product team to build features that have a significant business impact, and work with the design team to build elegant and intuitive UI components.
• Push the boundaries of modern frontend development to build fast, ambitious web applications that will delight our clients, and proactively identify bottlenecks and improve our frontend developer experience.
• Coach and help teammates through code reviews and whiteboarding sessions, and get involved at a team level in designing and implementing solutions.

• Quality & high standards really matter to us - you will focus on continually applying high coding standards, excellent attention to detail and a methodological work process
• Strong proficiency and at least 5 years of professional experience with Ember.js or any other modern JS Framework
• The ability to reason about trade-offs when discussing frontend technologies
• Experience in working with and building RESTful APIs (GraphQL a bonus)
• Knowledge and understanding of JavaScript, its fundamentals, and latest developments in JavaScript
• Ability to inspire and motivate, to improve quality and productivity, maintaining technical innovation and excellence
