Senior Tax Manager (Indirect Tax)

• Provide high-quality indirect tax advice across the business on new income streams, products and transactions.
• Build strong relationships with key internal partners, acting as a business partner to understand new products and transactions.
• Lead systems and process assurance reviews, identifying indirect tax risks and working with owners to resolve issues and establish effective governance and controls.

• Ability to consider tax risk holistically, anticipate emerging issues and apply sound judgement when priorities or circumstances are complex
• Ability to understand different perspectives and explain complex information clearly, meaningfully and in a way that suits the stakeholder
• CTA or equivalent work experience within the Financial Services industry is preferred
• Strong capability in applying VAT expertise to ensure VAT reporting obligations are fulfilled, tracked and appropriately managed
• Ability to develop effective working relationships and work across organisational boundaries to achieve shared outcomes
• Ability to interpret technical information objectively, identify assumptions or gaps and develop well-reasoned solutions and advice
