IDENTIFICATION CLERK

This is technical work at the trainee level in taking, classifying, comparing, and identifying fingerprints. Work requires knowledge of techniques, methods and procedures utilized in the identification of fingerprints that is gained through a combination of specialized training and on-the-job experience. Contacts require basic courtesy, tact, and effectiveness in dealing with others and includes contacts to request or provide information, ask questions, or obtain clarification.
