External Job Description Responsibilities : Lead the design, engineering, and technical evaluation of Conventional and HTLS conductors in line with customer specifications, utility requirements, and international standards. Review customer enquiries, technical specifications, tender documents, and transmission line requirements to develop optimized conductor designs and provide technical inputs for commercial costing. Provide technical leadership to the Sales & Marketing team during pre-bid meetings, customer presentations, technical negotiations, and bid evaluations. Act as the primary technical interface with customers from enquiry through order execution, ensuring timely resolution of all technical and engineering queries. Perform conductor design calculations, including current carrying capacity, tensile strength, sag and tension analysis, thermal performance, creep characteristics, and line loading requirements. Review and approve conductor designs, technical datasheets, manufacturing drawings, inspection documents, Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), and customer submittals. Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, R&D, Procurement, and Project Management teams to ensure successful execution of customer requirements. Mentor and develop the technical engineering team while establishing robust engineering practices, design standards, and documentation systems. Support business development initiatives through technical seminars, customer training programs, and interactions with utilities, consultants, and EPC organizations.
