Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will oversee a team of four professionals while remaining actively involved in the day-to-day operations of Private Debt and loan portfolios. This position offers a combination of hands-on loan operations, team coordination and exposure to international stakeholders within a dynamic investment environment. Key Responsibilities Loan Operations & Portfolio ManagementOversee the day-to-day operations of Private Debt and loan portfolios, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions.Manage the full loan lifecycle, including drawdowns, repayments, rollovers, PIK interest, fee accruals and loan bookings.Supervise cash movements, bank reconciliations and FX settlements across multiple currencies.Monitor cash flows related to loan transactions, capital calls and distributions.Liaise with loan agents, facility agents, borrowers and fund administrators to resolve operational issues and ensure accurate transaction processing.Investigate and resolve reconciliation differences, settlement issues and operational <discrepancies.Support> periodic NAV reviews by providing accurate transaction data and coordinating with fund accounting and valuation teams.Contribute to improving operational procedures, internal controls and reporting processes. Team Management & CoordinationSupervise and coordinate a team of four operations professionals, ensuring an efficient allocation of responsibilities.Provide technical guidance and support on complex loan transactions and operational matters.Monitor daily activities, deadlines and service quality.Act as the main escalation point for operational <issues.Support> the development of team members and promote continuous process improvement. Your ProfileMinimum 4–5 years of professional experience in loan operations, private debt operations or loan servicing within a financial institution.Proven hands-on experience managing the operational lifecycle of loans is mandatory, gained within an Asset Manager, Private Debt firm, bank, loan servicing company or fund administrator.Strong knowledge of loan transactions, including drawdowns, repayments, interest calculations, rollovers and loan administration.Experience in cash management, reconciliations and FX settlements.Practical experience with a loan administration or portfolio management system is essential, such as Allvue/AltaReturn, WSO, Sylvan or a similar platform.Previous team management, supervision or coordination experience would be a strong advantage.Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.Comfortable working independently and interacting with internal teams and external counterparties.Fluent English is required. French, German or Luxembourgish would be an advantage.Candidates with relevant loan operations experience gained in Luxembourg or internationally will be considered.
