Senior Software Engineer (Web3 Backend)

Join Robinhood as a Senior Software Engineer (Web3 Backend) and play a key role in architecting, building, and scaling the backend services and infrastructure for our next-generation crypto, web3, and wallet offerings. You will provide technical leadership, solve complex distributed systems challenges, and collaborate with multi-functional teams. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of software development experience, proficiency in Go or Python, and experience in the crypto domain.

• Architect, build, and scale backend services, infrastructure, and data systems for Robinhood's crypto, web3, and wallet offerings.
• Provide technical leadership to deliver a best-in-class trading experience for cryptocurrencies and tokenized assets, solving complex distributed systems challenges.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to deliver large-scope technical quality projects, mentor junior developers, and lead projects of large complexity.

• 5+ years of software development experience working in a fast paced environment
• Strong ownership and experience building and operating high-scale, distributed systems across the full software lifecycle
• Proficiency in Go or Python, with exceptional technical grasp with problem-solving and production debugging skills
• 3+ years experience writing low latency, large scale distributed systems for Crypto domains
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team and across engineering teams
• Experience mentoring junior developers and leading the team technically on new initiatives and system improvement
