Commercial Legal Counsel - 12 month FTC

Join Funding Circle, a fintech company dedicated to supporting small businesses in the UK. As a Commercial Legal Counsel, you will work closely with various teams to draft and negotiate commercial agreements, advise on legal requirements for new products, and optimize the legal function. You should be a qualified solicitor with around 4 years of post-qualified experience, strong drafting skills, and a collaborative attitude.

• Partner with stakeholders to draft and negotiate a diverse range of commercial agreements, including technology service contracts and strategic partnerships.
• Work alongside commercial and product stakeholders to enable the launch of new products, advising on various legal requirements.
• Act as a proactive problem solver, identifying, evaluating, and advising on legal, regulatory, and operational risks that arise in day-to-day business.
