IT Support Technician

Merieux NutriSciences is looking for an experienced IT Support Technician to join our team at the Ormonde, Johannesburg branch. This role is responsible for providing technical support across the business, ensuring the effective operation of hardware, software, networks, and laboratory-related systems within a regulated GxP environment. The successful candidate will troubleshoot technical issues, support users, maintain IT infrastructure, and assist with technology projects to ensure business continuity and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities - Provide first-line IT support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. - Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals. - Support Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and business systems. - Assist with server support, network troubleshooting, and IT infrastructure maintenance. - Support IT projects, system integrations, and technology improvements. - GxP Data Integrity Compliance: Ensure backup verification, audit trail logging, and system security meet GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part - 11, and company data integrity requirements. - Train and support users on IT systems and applications. - Develop, update, and maintain IT Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), system qualification docs, and issue logs to ensure full audit readiness.
