Senior AI Engineer (image & video generation)

Luminary Ventures OÜ · Estonia

About The Role

Working language: English (Estonian not required). Remote; Tallinn optional.
Work tasks: MyArchitectAI is AI rendering software for architects and interior designers. Users upload a design and get a photorealistic render in seconds that keeps their geometry and materials. Then they can swap materials, change lighting and objects, upscale, or turn the still into a video. We're a small founder-led team and we move fast. Our working language is English.
We're looking for an engineer who rapidly turns promising image- and video-generation techniques into evaluated, shipped MyArchitectAI features. This is hands-on product building: not pure research, and not a pure inference/infrastructure job.

  • In your first 30 days you ship a meaningful improvement, scoped with a founder: a new AI capability, a quality or speed gain, an evaluation system, or automation of manual work. You back it with visual examples and numbers.
  • By 60 days you find an opportunity yourself (new models, user data, weak spots in our pipeline), propose it and ship it.
  • By 90 days you have three or more shipped contributions and own the loop: find → evaluate → build → validate → ship → learn.
  • You keep a clear view of new models, techniques and competitors without chasing novelty for its own sake.

We offer: - Working directly with the founders, with real impact on the product.- GPU access.

  • Remote work; Tallinn optional.
  • Employment contract or contractor agreement, as you prefer.
  • English is our working language; Estonian is not required.
  • Salary negotiable.

Other requirements: You have:- Hands-on work with generative image or video models (not only LLMs, RAG or agents).

  • At least one shipped product, deployed feature, meaningful open-source contribution, or convincing end-to-end project, and you can say exactly what you built.
  • Experience running experiments and making quality vs. speed vs. cost decisions.
  • The engineering skills to take a notebook or demo into a real product (Python, production-quality code).
  • Good written English (our working language). Estonian is not required.

Nice to have:
Diffusers, ComfyUI, ControlNet-style conditioning, inpainting and editing, LoRA and fine-tuning, video models, upscaling; your own evaluation datasets or benchmarks; GPU deployment and optimisation; 3D, AEC, CAD, rendering or interiors; public code, demos, models or write-ups.
Option to work from home: Yes
