Consultant Visceral Surgeon

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Visceral Surgeon to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will specialize in the surgical management of abdominal and digestive system disorders, providing advanced surgical care for patients with complex gastrointestinal conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and surgically manage diseases affecting the abdominal organs and digestive system.
• Perform open and minimally invasive procedures involving the stomach, intestines, colon, gallbladder, and other abdominal organs.
• Manage conditions such as hernias, gallstones, intestinal obstruction, gastrointestinal tumors, and inflammatory bowel diseases requiring surgery.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized surgical treatment plans.
• Provide pre-operative evaluations and post-operative care.
• Manage surgical emergencies and post-operative complications.
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists.
• Supervise junior medical staff and contribute to clinical quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Relevant postgraduate qualification in General Surgery, Visceral Surgery, or an equivalent surgical specialty.
• Significant post-specialization experience at Consultant level.
• Experience in open and minimally invasive abdominal surgical procedures.
• Strong surgical judgment, clinical leadership, and communication skills.
