Manager of Global Payroll

Join Affirm's Global Payroll Team, a critical function dedicated to delivering accurate, timely, and compliant payroll services across multiple countries and regions. As a Manager of Global Payroll, you will collaborate with various business units, process payroll for the UK and Spain, assist with audits and compliance procedures, support month-end closing, and answer employee questions regarding pay and benefits. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on payroll matters, ensuring accurate benefit information and compliance with local labor laws.
• Process payroll for the U.K. and Spain, and assist with processing RSUs, ESPP earnings, garnishments, and levies.
• Support audit and compliance procedures related to payroll, and be the primary contact for all payroll-related audit testing for respective countries.

• Excellent communication skills to include written and verbal communication with employees and across the organization including varying levels of leadership
• Knowledge of NetSuite or Workday is a plus
• Self-motivated, flexible, deadline-oriented and able to complete tasks with limited supervision
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and education beyond high school
• Minimum 10-15 years of international payroll experience with a focus on EMEA countries
• Strong math, analytical, research, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong system and data flow knowledge. Ability to learn and adapt to new process flows and software technologies
• Experience with systems migration and integration of different systems is a plus
• Ability to think creatively and critically and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment
