Site Manager- North Wales

Join the Woodland Trust, the UK's largest woodland conservation charity, as a Site Manager in North Wales. In this role, you will lead the management of a diverse portfolio of high-profile woodland sites, ensuring they are managed sustainably and in line with conservation principles. You will develop and deliver long-term woodland management plans, manage contractors, carry out ecological assessments, and promote engagement with local communities. This is a home-based role with regular travel to various locations in North Wales and occasional travel to regional offices.

• Lead the management of a diverse portfolio of high-profile woodland sites, ensuring they are managed sustainably and in line with UK Woodland Assurance Standard requirements.
• Develop and deliver long-term woodland management plans across a range of habitats, including ancient woodland restoration, biodiversity-rich sites, parkland and new woodland creation projects.
• Commission, manage and monitor contractors and specialist suppliers to deliver high-quality woodland management and conservation work.
