This role is for an internship in the design team. Responsibilities: This program is a singular entry point into the comprehensive design ecosystem at Ather, covering critical domains where form meets function and digital meets physical. We seek versatile talent ready to contribute a fresh perspective across our entire product pipeline. Industrial & Transportation Design UI/UX & Visual/Brand Design Color, Materials, & Finish (CMF) Space Experience & Service Design Design Research & Management Advanced 3D Visualization Accessory, Fashion, & Apparel Design You will be tasked with transforming ambitious concepts into tangible reality, maintaining uncompromising standards of execution and detail. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Integrate seamlessly with engineering, product management, and marketing teams to ensure design integrity and feasibility. High-Fidelity Execution: Deliver compelling narratives, refined digital interfaces, or precise physical prototypes, depending on your focus track. Design Ownership: Take full accountability for your projects, from initial ideation to final implementation, maintaining extreme diligence to quality and intent. Problem Resolution: Engage in deep research, identify core user challenges, and iterate on solutions that imbue Ather’s products—both physical and digital—with superior functional and emotional value. Experience and Qualifications: We require a foundation that demonstrates readiness to make an immediate impact. Commitment: Must be available for a strict six-month, in-person engagement at our Bangalore Design Studio. Expertise: Demonstrable mastery of core design principles, proficiency with industry-standard 2D/3D visualization and prototyping tools, and the ability to clearly articulate complex design decisions. Portfolio: A comprehensive, well-curated portfolio is essential, showcasing your design methodology, visual craft, and capacity for sophisticated problem-solving. Education: Currently in the final semester or a graduate of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant design discipline. Must have Competencies: We hire based on inherent potential.
