Your Tasks

• Provide direct support to DCM originators with the aim to win new mandates by preparing presentations and pitch books as well as during execution of existing mandates by assisting in preparing transaction-specific materials.
• Research of certain issuers and markets as well as preparing regular market updates.
• Gathering information from Bloomberg, rating agencies as well as internal and external databases, further processing it in Excel for analysis as well as creating comprehensive and visually appealing PowerPoint slide decks.
• Analysis of executed issuances and drafting transaction-related reports, such as deal summaries, as well as assisting in the preparation of RfPs to win mandates for bond issuances.

Your Background

• Currently enrolled student from an economics, business administration or mathematics background.
• Strong interest and affinity towards capital markets, in particular fixed income.
• Basic understanding and knowledge of the DCM business, rates and macro-economics are required.

Potential candidates need to demonstrate following strengths and qualities:

• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills, ideally knowledge in VBA
• Proficiency of market standard software such as Bloomberg
• Excellent analytical, mathematical and and quantitative skills
• Strong academic background, ideally with coursework related to finance, economics, and/or mathematics
• Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines, willing to go the extra mile
• Adaptability, flexibility and resilience, with a proactive mindset
• Fluency in German and English, any other language of advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication, time management and organizational skills
