Senior Tax Platform Engineer – Corporate Technology

Join the Financial Times, a leading global news organization, as a Senior Tax Platform Engineer. In this role, you will provide technical leadership for the platforms and capabilities supporting Tax and Compliance. You will work closely with Tax, Finance, and Compliance stakeholders to understand regulatory and operational requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. You will also support the reliable operation of Tax and Compliance platforms and services, work with specialist platform vendors, and build and maintain high-quality technical documentation.

• Providing technical leadership for the platforms and technology capabilities supporting Tax and Compliance.
• Developing and maintaining deep technical knowledge of the platforms, their configuration, integrations, data flows and dependencies.
• Working closely with Tax, Finance and Compliance specialists to understand regulatory, operational and business requirements and translating those requirements into clear technical requirements.
