Solutions Architect (Governance, Risk & Compliance, 12 Month Fixed Term Contract)

Join Workiva as a Solutions Architect specializing in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC). In this role, you will design and deliver high-impact platform solutions, lead the delivery of contracted GRC engagements, and leverage AI-driven capabilities to streamline technical execution. You will also interface directly with delivery partners, partner cross-functionally with Customer Success, Sales, and Product teams, and actively share GRC domain knowledge with the broader team. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract position with the opportunity for remote work.

• Drive GRC Delivery: Own and execute direct service delivery for GRC customer and partner engagements across the EMEA region, ensuring projects move smoothly from scoping to high-value outcomes.
• Consultative Discovery & Design: Lead detailed discovery sessions to understand business workflows, designing robust GRC solutions within the Workiva platform without requiring day-to-day supervision.
• Leverage NextGen AI & MCPs: Integrate AI-driven workflows and Model Context Protocols into daily operations to automate routine tasks, focus on strategic advisory work, and help clients adopt modern AI capabilities.

• Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva office
• Prior experience in GRC, internal audit, enterprise risk management or compliance
• 3+ years of experience in a SaaS service delivery role, professional services, internal audit, risk & controls, or a related platform delivery field
• Ability to travel up to 10% travel for customer meetings and internal events
• Outstanding soft skills, including consultative confidence, active listening, structured problem-solving, and clear communication with business stakeholders
• Proven ability to manage time independently across multiple client engagements while adhering to contractually agreed scopes
• AI Aptitude: Enthusiasm for modern SaaS technology and AI capabilities. Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows, data concepts (SQL, JSON, REST APIs), or Model Context Protocols (MCPs)
• Process Influence: Self-motivated with a strong drive to influence business processes and help customers modernise their reporting environment
• Relationship Focus: Ability to build and nurture long-term, customer-first relationships
