Senior Corporate Counsel (Commercial)

In this role, you will be a trusted strategic partner to the Americas East revenue team, drafting, structuring, and negotiating customer contracts with major brands. • Draft, structure, and negotiate customer contracts with major brands in various industries.
• Lead complex SaaS and on-premises commercial negotiations, serving as a trusted advisor to the sales team.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations impacting SaaS and on-premises offerings, including artificial intelligence and intellectual property.

• Experience with federal government procurement and customers
• High professional and personal standards, and a commitment to inclusiveness
• Working knowledge of intellectual property, data governance and information security/privacy matters
• Demonstrated experience in negotiating and closing complex SaaS and software contracts with large, sophisticated customers
• Attention to detail and an ability to view legal issues within the context of business objectives
• Collaborative, and willing to build something together as a team
• Great judgment, and an ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships within the company, with customers, and others
• Law degree, and member in good standing of the applicable state bar or eligible to be a registered in-house counsel
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience practicing law both in private practice and in-house, preferably with late-stage private and/or early-stage public technology companies
