Credit Risk Analyst

We are looking for a **Credit Risk Analyst** to join our **Portfolio Strategy** team and help us keep our retail credit portfolio balanced across risk, return, and capital use. You will be an independent partner to the Product and Underwriting teams, turning analysis into practical recommendations that shape how we grow.

**Challenges that await you:**

• Ensure the bank's retail credit portfolio fits its business model, takes the right level of risk, and earns an appropriate return
• Provide independent oversight and challenge to Product and Underwriting teams on portfolio strategy, risk selection, and pricing
• Monitor portfolio performance and competitors, and recommend changes to improve the balance between risk, return, and capital use
• Calculate and monitor credit loss provisions
• Help optimize the capital consumed by the portfolio

**What makes you a great fit:**

• Strong understanding of retail credit risk, portfolio management, and credit risk strategies
• Knowledge of credit loss provisioning under IFRS and US GAAP
• Understanding of how banks operate, capital adequacy, and credit risk RWA calculations
• Ability to assess and improve portfolio performance through risk, return, pricing, and capital use
• Ability to challenge business and underwriting decisions and turn analysis into practical recommendations.
• Good knowledge of SQL
• B1 or higher English level for effective communication with an international team
