### Consultant Psychiatrist – Forensic Mental Health
**Location:** Alice Springs and Darwin , NT
**Salary Package:** Up to $347,549 (inclusive of allowances)
**About the Role**
We are seeking an experienced **Consultant Psychiatrist** to join a **Mental Health, Alcohol, and Other Drugs team** in the Central Australia region. This role offers a rare opportunity to work across both forensic and community mental health settings in one of the most unique and culturally rich parts of Australia.
This position is ideal for a specialist who is passionate about making a difference in remote and Indigenous health while contributing to teaching and training programs for medical students and psychiatry registrars.

- **Specialist Clinician:** $248,765 - $304,012
- **Senior Specialist Clinician:** $314,354 - $347,549
- Additional allowances:
- Professional Training Allowance: $21,603 - $27,967

- Private Practice Allowance: $103,538 - $145,005
- Salary packaging benefits: $9,010
- 6 weeks annual leave + 2 weeks professional development leave

**About the Role**
- Deliver expert psychiatric care across community and forensic settings (50:50 split).

**What You’ll Bring**
- Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) or equivalent.
- Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
