Role Name GL- Qualiy Assurance Reporting to Section Head - Quality Role purpose Incoming child part Checking /Verification , IQA Reports making,QMS implementation ( PPAP Verification), & Daily Testing& Calibration of instruments.,process audit,product Audit,PFD/FMEA/CP updatation ,SPC & MSA Study of process,Customer audit observation closure & actions,Inprocess rejection Document created by Responsibilities KRA (Key Result Areas) KPI (Key Performance Indicators) Heads Cost Controlling Cost of Poor Quality ( Child Part & Process rejection ) 1) To monitor the child part consumption& Shelf life items. 2) To maintain Inprocess rejction cost as per Target. Customer (Internal ) 1.Control In process rejection & Defective parts supply/Flow out to Assy & customer end . 2.Monitor Effectveness of actions taken for Customer complaints. 3. Incoming Inspection of Direct Material - BOP 4.Ensure incoming inspection and testing of material as per PQC Table as per plan 1) To ensure & control internal Rejection PPM as Per target. 2) To ensure sequencing Rejection PPM as Per target. 3) Monthly supplier PPM & Rating Submission with plant team & 4) Customer audit observations closure. 5) Approval of PPAP documents with suppliers in Co-ordination with Materials department 6) Maintain supplier performance storyboard and champion suppler performance review for understanding supplier 7) Develop and maintain an open issue list along with a timing plan and report any concerns or issues to the core team Process / System 1)To ensure the Zero customer complaint due to subassembly process. 2) To ensure the timely feedback with plant team for Raw Glass( TM Glass) issues & action details 3) To meet the QMS requirement ( ISO TS 16949 & Customer audits). 4.Process Audit & Product Audit. 5. Instrument calibration . 6. SPC,MSA Study for Process. 7. PFD/FMEA/CP 1)To maintain Qc PPM as per Target. 2) Weekly MCM Reports. 3) Submission of Kaizen & Suggestion as per the Target 4) Ensure calibration of all gauges & instrument as per Schedule 5) process audit & product audit as per plan .. 6) SPC & MSA Study as per plan. 7) Daily Shelf life item consumption monitoring & sharing data with all concerns 8) Knowledge of PFD/FMEA/CP 9) Implementation quality standards & structured process/ internal Control plans for manufacturing operations of equipment and machine as well as standard products ensuring accomplishment of business goals across the assigned business units. People Development & Innovation 1) Training to associate as per Schedule ( E&T Implementation) 1) To ensure the training to Associates on sub Assy process whenever required. 2) To ensure the training to Associates on child part testing & customer specific requirements REQUIREMENTS Knowledge * Basic process knowledge of glass & Assy process * Basic Quality management requirement & audit requirements & compilation. * Drawing Reading & Understanding . * PSC, MSA knowledge * PFD,FMEA,CP knowledge * process /product audit knowledge. .
