About The Role

About Traveloka Traveloka is Southeast Asia's leading travel and lifestyle super-app. We connect tens of millions of travellers across the region with flights, hotels, experiences, financial services, and more — all from a single platform. Since our founding in 2012, we have expanded to eleven markets, processed billions of dollars in transactions, and built one of the most recognised consumer brands in the region. We move fast because the region demands it. Southeast Asia is young, mobile-first, and growing faster than almost anywhere else on earth. We are not transplanting a Western playbook — we are writing a new one, from scratch, for a market that does not look like anywhere else — and we are calling for people who want to be part of that. About the Team Corporate IT is the backbone that keeps thousands of Travelokans productive and secure across 11 markets — owning the internal systems, endpoints, networks, and infrastructure that the whole company runs on. From managed services and IT operations to network, communications, and infrastructure, we make technology invisible when it works and resilient when it matters most. We support a workforce that never stops, in a region where scale and speed are the norm, not the exception. Here you operate hands-on across a real, diverse environment — not a slide deck. You will harden networks, sharpen service experience, and solve problems that thousands of people feel the moment they hit. If you want your work to be felt every single day by the people building Southeast Asia's leading travel super-app, this is your team. About the Job As an IT Operations Engineer, you will be a fully competent contributor trusted to run and improve the internal systems and services Traveloka employees depend on — owning your area of the IT estate independently and making it more reliable. You deliver as an individual contributor with no direct reports, accountable for the decisions and the course of action within the services you own, even when the problem spills across other job areas. Own the operation and reliability of assigned IT services (endpoints, identity, collaboration tools, or office infrastructure), deciding how to hit your SLAs and standing behind those calls Resolve complex incidents that span multiple systems independently, leading diagnosis from symptom to root cause to permanent fix where the scope isn't always cleanly defined Design and run automation for provisioning, patching, and access management to cut manual toil across the fleet Administer identity and access at scale — SSO, MFA, conditional access, lifecycle automation — with security baked in Manage device compliance and endpoint security posture, reaching agreement with the security team on policy enforcement through the facts and the trade-offs Improve processes by handling recurring anomalies, proposing the fix that aligns to existing policy, and shipping it through to measurable results Mentor junior associates and raise the quality bar of the team's documentation and runbooks, without owning their line management Job Requirements You have at least 2 years of relevant experience. You independently own IT services and resolve issues that span multiple systems without hand-holding You are strong in endpoint management (Intune/Jamf), cloud identity (Entra ID/Okta/Google Workspace), and SaaS administration You understand networking, DNS, certificates, and VPN deeply enough to troubleshoot the hard cases You script confidently (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) and automate the work that shouldn't be done by hand You think security-first — least privilege, MFA, conditional access — as a default, not an afterthought You prioritise by business impact and communicate status and trade-offs clearly to users and stakeholders You use AI tooling to accelerate diagnosis, scripting, and documentation, and you sanity-check what it produces You have a degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience running production IT services You communicate clearly and confidently in English across technical and business audiences You hold an intermediate certification (ITIL, Microsoft Certified, Okta, or CCNA-level) and keep your skills current You have automated identity lifecycle or device provisioning end to end and measurably reduced toil You have operated at regional or multi-country scale where time zones and local context matter Join Us If you have read this far and felt something click — the problem, the scale, the moment — we would like to hear from you. We review every application. If your background is a strong fit, you will hear from us within 5 business days. We are building the kind of company where strong people choose to stay because the work keeps getting bigger and better. If that is what you are looking for, apply.
