FACILITIES SPECIALIST

Group Company: BANK OF THE PHILIPPINE ISLANDS Designation: FACILITIES SPECIALIST Office Location: Manila (BRANCH) Position description: The position is primarily responsible to render relationship support operations on premises & facilities provided to the Unibank’s branches, business centers, cash centers & processing centers on matters ranging from premises repairs, maintenance, housekeeping and renovation. Ensure that the department’s output anticipates, sustains and keeps in stride with the frontline service, physical aesthetics and branding thrusts of the Bank. Primary Responsibilities: 1. Ensure that all branches are manned with handyman /janitor. Promote professional behavior and quality standards among all the working groups in the premises. 2. Coordinate closely with the handymen’s/janitors’ cluster supervisors for the effective & efficient handling of their scope of work. 3. Ensure that there is quality control of on-site procedures, staff and service providers. 4. Conduct a regular site inspection of the following: Housekeeping, Safety and Facilities/Equipment Maintenance and other areas covered on the site checklist. 5. Quality Control monitoring on maintenance works of trade partners or construction works of General Contractors to improve performance or scope of the Preventive Maintenance. 6. Implement strategic plans, policies and initiatives of FSM for the branches/offices up-keep. 7. Efficient & effective endorsement of facilities – related service orders /requests to Technical Services Team for resolution. Ensure that all completed service orders are closed & ABDs (Area Business Director)/BMs (Branch Manager) are informed. Establishes & maintains rapport/partnership with internal clients. 8. Identify opportunities and implement actions to achieve efficiencies. 9. Acts as Pollution Control Officer (PCO) and Energy Manager (EM) for selected sites. 10. Perform other functions as may be requested but not limited to critical thinking analysis.
